Vi extends prepaid validity and provides free data for Remal-affected Assam and Northeast

In the wake of Cyclone Remal’s devastation, Vi is stepping up to assist its customers in Assam and the Northeast by extending prepaid service validity and offering free data. Recognizing the importance of staying connected during emergencies, Vi has extended prepaid validity by four days for residents of Barak Valley, Meghalaya, Manipur, and Mizoram.

The telecom giant is also providing 1GB of additional data and a few free outgoing minutes at no extra cost to select customers in the affected regions. These initiatives are effective immediately, aimed at ensuring seamless communication and access to critical information during this challenging period.

Vi’s network teams are working relentlessly, in coordination with local authorities, to restore normalcy and maintain network stability in the cyclone-hit areas.
