Filmmaker Aanand L Rai has recently shared about his relationship with Kangana Ranaut. As the two of them have received immense appreciation for Tanu Weds Manu and Queen.
He shared, “If we talk about Kangana, Tanu Weds Manu (was released in) 2011. Then she went and did Queen (2013) and then she came for (Tanu Weds Manu) Returns. In an actor’s life also there is a graph, by that time, as a director also, I did not want to repeat myself. Kangana wanted to grow and she was on the rise. I think what went right with us is we were hungry at that point in time, in our own space.”
“We never wanted it to be easy. I never feel that any film, ‘ke yaar, yeh toh mere liye bohot easy hai”, he added.
