ADB to give Bangladesh $338m in loans for vaccine development

Asian Development Bank has come forward to help Bangladesh financially with a amount of $338 million for manufacturing vaccines against various diseases like Covid-19 and Dengue.

The decision came after a meeting held between Asian Development Bank Country Director Edimon Ginting and Planning Minister Bangladesh MA Mannan in Dhaka.

The initiative was taken to help Bangladesh minimize its dependency on other countries for import of vaccines and facilitate more production in the country.
