Disney looses subscribers despite lower streaming

Walt Disney Company is known to be world’s biggest entertainment conglomerates. But according to the recent updates, the company is facing difficult period as subscribers are going low.

On Thursday after a surprise drop in streaming subscribers fuelled worries that the company is sacrificing growth to cut costs and lower losses.

As per reports, the fall in share price erased about 16 billion from the company’s market value and marked the stock’s biggest single-day decline since Bob Igor returned as Disney’s CEO in November 2022.

Also, the shares of the company have been on a downward trajectory for the past one year, falling over 10 per cent.
