Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) reported its strongest monthly performance in August 2023, selling 22,910 units, a 53% increase from the previous year’s sales of 14,959 units achieved in August 2022. Domestic sales reached 20,970 units, while exports reached 1,940 units.
The company also experienced remarkable sales growth in January-August 2023, with total sales of 147,192 units, representing a 34.2% increase compared to the same period last year. TKM’s enhanced production capacity through three-shift operations has enabled it to meet market demand. In July 2023, the company achieved its highest monthly wholesale figures ever, selling 21,911 units, showcasing its strong performance and upward trend.
Commenting on the sales momentum, Mr. Atul Sood, Vice President of Sales, and Strategic Marketing at Toyota Kirloskar Motor, said, “We are thrilled to report our best-ever sales performance by selling 22,910 units in the month of August 2023.
